Color-Logic Now Offers Two-Color Metallic Gradations

WEST CHESTER, OH | Color-Logic, a developer of color communication systems and software tool sets for a variety of special effect printing applications, reports the upgraded Design Suite is a user-friendly suite of plug-ins and palettes for graphic designers that permits gradating multiple metallic colors, one into another.

The Gradation-FX technique available in the upgrade enables graphic designers to create special effects said to be impossible with spot metallic inks.

Color-Logic chief technical officer Richard Ainge says, "…Metallic inks no longer need be printed as solids. With the Gradation-FX function, designers can blend metallic colors together, or even blend metallic colors into process colors, to create dazzling eye-catching effects."
