DuPont Honors Flexo Education

NEU-ISENBURG, GERMANY | As part of the 35th anniversary celebration of Cyrel, DuPont Packaging Graphics organized a technical seminar at Marmara Univ., at which associate professor Dr. Efe Gençoglu of Marmara received the DuPont 2009 New Horizons award in recognition of the second edition of his book on flexo printing.

In 2006 DuPont started a cooperative effort with Marmara to educate the packaging sector and established the DuPont Technology Center in Printing department to apply advance flexographic printing technologies. Full renovation of the technology center and establishment of high-technology flexo plate manufacturing line reportedly underlines the support given by DuPont to flexo education.
