Roland DGA Announces 2019 Born-to-Wrap Workshop Schedule

Roland DGA, a top provider of wide-format printers and printer/cutters for vehicle wrap applications, has been offering its hands-on Born-to-Wrap workshops for over 12 years, however, the expanded 2019 schedule is anticipated to be its most extensive to date, with classes offered in more locations from coast to coast.

This year, in addition to its comprehensive two-day “Basics and Beyond” wrap workshops, Roland DGA will also be offering specialized four-hour “Skills Training” and free three-hour “Inside the Wrap Shop” classes, to be held in conjunction with many of The NBM Shows taking place nationwide in 2019.  In all, a total of 26 Born-to-Wrap classes will be conducted – all led by the experts from Louisville, Kentucky-based Digital EFX Wraps, renowned for its vehicle wrap installation and business management instruction.

Partnering with Roland DGA to make the 2019 Born-to-Wrap workshops and classes even more successful are leading media manufacturers – Arlon, Avery Dennison, Orafol and 3M.  In addition to supplying wrap film and laminate for use in the classes, these companies will also be providing free wrap media kits to those who attend a Born-to-Wrap “Basics and Beyond” or “Skills Training” workshop.

The two-day Basics and Beyond workshops, designed for new wrap business owners and installers, can provide a thorough overview of the vehicle wrap process and running a successful wrap shop.  Attendees can also receive useful pointers for getting the most out of their wide-format digital printing equipment for vehicle wrap and graphics applications.

For those on a tighter schedule, the shorter Skills Training and Inside the Wrap Shop classes also provide valuable instruction.  The half-day Skills Training class is centered around wrap installation with hands-on instruction in a simulated shop environment, while the free three-hour, business-oriented Inside the Wrap Shop sessions focus on establishing and operating a successful wrap operation.
