RadTech Conference Has Broad Agenda

CHEVY CHASE, MD | RadTech - The Association for UV & EB Technology reports the upcoming technical conference will feature many exciting technologies.
The event, which takes place May 7–9, 2018, in Rosemont, IL, will address many issues, including the following:
- Implantable materials compatible with host tissue
- Biomimicry applications involving transforming reactive liquid mixtures into solid thread-like structures at high speeds like spiders and silkworms
- “Artificial muscles” using liquid crystalline elastomers
- Anti-fingerprint, anti-glare, and anti-reflective coatings
- “Smart” materials
- Materials for light weighting
- UV+EB coatings for automotive interiors including automotive knobs, buttons, and overhead, mood lighting with touchscreens, and capacitive sensing
- Rapid, carbon fiber processing
- Materials, materials, materials for 3D printing rapid manufacturing applications
- Organic-inorganic hybrids (OIH).
The deadline for registering is April 20, 2018.
