Diamond Packaging was recognized as one of Rochester's “greenest” companies during a recent event sponsored by the Rochester Business Journal and Bank of America.

Companies were evaluated on their efforts in one or more of the following areas: alternative energy use; environmental innovation; long-term commitment to conservation; pollution prevention; recycling/reuse; resource reduction; and green building.

Diamond says its greenbox initiative balances business with community-wide environmental considerations by promoting sustainability in all aspects of package production.
