Wisconsin Converters Score a Goal

GREEN BAY, WI

Converting Influence, an independent group serving the Wisconsin converting corridor, scored a winning goal — even if their favored Packers fell short of expectations — on January 10, the eve of the much anticipated NFL play-offs. The Lambeau Stadium atrium experience, where the group's first Converters Expo was held, is certainly one not many would turn down — even in the middle of winter. Almost 60 converter suppliers and allied businesses along with nearly 350 people participated.

Trudy Opad, president of Jemmco, Mequon, WI, commented during the Expo's complimentary sit-down luncheon, “This is refreshing! There are actually a lot of visitors here with whom we can network under pleasant conditions!”

The group's next meeting is planned for May 15, themed “The Wisconsin Converting Supply Chain Solution,” and will be held at Fox Valley Technical College's Bordini Ctr. in Appleton, WI, from 9:45 A.M. to 12:45 P.M. The event will start with networking during a limited tabletop display, followed at 10:30 by a panel discussion including converters and supply chain experts. A buffet lunch will be served at 11:45, and the event will conclude with an optional FVTC print center tour. For more information, visit www.convertinginfluence.com.
