ETI Announces New-Generation Press

LONGUEUIL, QC, CANADA | ETI Converting Equipment announces its new generation of the Metronome flexo printing press especially designed for unsupported monoweb thin film. With its oversized concept, the Metronome reportedly allows label printing at high speeds 24/7. 
The Metronome is equipped with the following features:
- Instant-change plate cylinders
- Instant-change anilox
- Instant rotary die
- Die cassettes to die-cut on all printing stations
- Auto peel-off to remove the die-cutting matrix without stopping the machine
- Water-based and UV curing systems
- Temperature control system on all stations to avoid heat buildup in the cylinders
- “Pellicut” station to avoid die marks on liner and provide the ability to die-cut at high-speeds down to a liner thickness of 12 microns
- Reversible printing stations
- Pre-registration and auto-registration systems
Company says this state-of-the-art press guarantees the printing of perfect labels, ensures greater efficiency during production time, and can evolve according to the needs of its user. Modular design can be transformed subsequently into a Cohesio by adding a silicone and an adhesive station.
