DUNMORE Offers Inkjet Printable Film

BRISTOL, PA | DUNMORE Corporation introduces a new line of printable films for the inkjet market, adding to what company says is its already extensive product portfolio of label films. The new film is ready for applications such as labels, packaging, advertising graphics, and wallpaper.

Inkjet coatings are formulated to optimize performance for water-based dye or pigment, UV, and eco-solvent inks. Company adds that in addition to providing exceptional durability and printing resolution, coatings can be applied to a wide variety of flexible substrates including polyester, polypropylene, polyvinylchloride, synthetic papers, and other substrates.

In order to meet specific esthetic needs, these inkjet coatings can be applied to metallized film white film, or clear films. These coatings are engineered to improve ink adhesion, drying time, and resolution.

Company reports that when there are printing applications that have unique performance requirements, its R&D team works with customers to formulate a custom chemistry to specifications. It also toll coats inkjet film constructions for customers.
