Presto Introduces Closure Solution

APPLETON, WI | Presto Products reports the introduction of the Fresh-Lock mini Slider application equipment, developed for smaller, lightweight flexible packaging such as that used in the beverage/tea/coffee, confectionery, pet care, and dairy industries.

Company says the rotary insertion machine is a significant departure from its historical commercial equipment offerings, adding that the new process utilizes a rotary motion, is capable of inserting sliders at an extremely high rate of speed, and is simple to set up.

The mini Slider equipment implements a new insertion method, which is said to eliminate the need for notching or slitting, maintaining zipper integrity throughout the process.

Brad Hansen, Presto Specialty Business Unit president, says, “Everything we’ve learned in the development of the mini Slider will be implemented moving forward. We are working to review all of our slider insertion methods to ensure we are providing our customers with the most convenient production process possible.”
