With a special “overload” feature, actuators halt motion when an obstruction or pre-set level of thrust force is exceeded. They are designed to handle motion thrust loads to 200 lbs, and thrust capacity is adjustable so actuator will stop when thrust setting is exceeded, adding a safety feature.
