Flint Adds Plate for Corrugated Markets

CHARLOTTE, NC | Flint Group Flexographic Products announces the nyloflex FRC printing plate for the corrugated market. 

Said to exhibit superior resistance to chipping during plate washout, plate is based on an optimized formulation for faster exposure and processing times to improve productivity as compared with many traditional printing plates. The unique composition of the plate is said to result in increased durability during processing, making it less likely to chip and to offer high print quality on all types of corrugated boards.

Company says plate provides excellent ink transfer and outstanding solid area coverage with minimal dot gain and is ideal for all corrugated print applications ranging from challenging graphics and multicolor designs to simple line work. Plate, which is compatible with flat top dot technologies to reduce the fluting on all board types, is available in both analog and digital formats and thicknesses ranging from 0.112–0.250 in.
