Mokon Offers Heat Transfer Oil Systems

BUFFALO, NY | Mokon reports its heat transfer oil system features unique heating and cooling concepts that maximize energy efficiency, safety, and control. 

The heating design features smaller hold-up volume of fluid, reportedly resulting in faster heat-up and cool-down as well as longer heater and fluid life due to unique heating design flowing in a serpentine pattern.

The cooling design has a separate cool oil reservoir that isolates heating loop from cooling loop. A continuous-flow heat exchanger eliminates thermal shock. No steam is created in cooling water lines when maintaining temperature. Design reduces oxidation rate or breakdown of fluid in reservoir, and the system is designed to hold fluid in lower reservoir so fluid does not spill onto floor in the event of a leak.
