The MagnaShear motor brake employs oil shear technology, providing longer service life even in demanding applications such as material handling equipment. Technology is said to provide a smooth “cushioned” stop that reduces shock to the drive system, further extending service life of downstream components. Totally enclosed brakes are impervious to moisture, dirt, and dust.
