The Global Brake Model F, originally rated to deliver up to 250 lb-ft of torque, now can be placed in applications in which up to 325 lb-ft of torque is required. This magnetic particle brake is said to offer no dust, smooth stops and starts, and little or no maintenance. Reportedly, technology is ideal for tensioning or other power transmission applications. Also features polished seal surfaces, high-temperature materials, and rugged construction.
