RadTech to Sponsor UV/EB Solutions Oasis at CMM

PRESS RELEASE

NEW YORK, NY, USA—RadTech International reports it will host an ultraviolet (UV) and electron beam (EB) curing pavilion at CMM International 2005. According to CMM sponsor/organizer, Paperloop, the trade association for UV/EB technology is the fifth association to sign up for a dedicated pavilion at the spring 2005 trade expo.

RadTech says the UV/EB Solutions Pavilion provides its members with a very cost-effective way to exhibit their new products and technologies.

"Consisting of individual 10 ft x 10 ft turnkey booth units built around a central RadTech hospitality area, the UV/EB Solutions Pavilion will serve as a one-stop shopping oasis where more than 22,000 converters from around the world can learn about the latest ultraviolet and electron beam advancements," states Paperloop.

In addition, says the show organizer, RadTech will feature its innovative new UV/EB Superstore, an area where the converting marketplace attendees will be able to walk through a virtual store filled with hundreds of consumer packaged goods manufactured with UV and EB technology. The Superstore is a part of the RadTech Tech Cell that debuted at RadTech’s e/5 conference and exhibition earlier this year, adds Paperloop. RadTech also will conduct a UV and EB educational session as part of the expo's comprehensive conference program.

Says RadTech executive director Gary Cohen, "The converting and package printing processes are an important and rapidly growing segment of RadTech’s membership. CMM will provide current and prospective users of ultraviolet and electron beam technology with an opportunity to stay at the leading edge of the latest developments and trends impacting their businesses."

RadTech joins four other leading associations sponsoring process-focused Pavilions at CMM, including the Flexographic Technical Association (FTA; flexography.org), the Association for Industrial Metallizers, Coaters, and Laminators (AIMCAL; aimcal.com), the Packaging and Label Gravure Association (PLGA; plga.com), and CONLATINGRAF.
