Plastics Will Star at NPE 2012

 

WASHINGTON, DC | NPE 2012, The International Plastics Showcase is scheduled for April 1–5 at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, FL. Produced by SPI, the Plastics Industry Trade Assn., the event will include the SPI 75th Anniversary Golf Tournament; Venue Orientation; Brand Owner Panel Discussion; an American-Style Barbeque; an Opening Gala; and the second International Plastics Design Competition (IPDC). Many industry and associations will have a presence at the show, and below is the first in a series of previews.

Several DuPont materials science businesses will join forces to showcase sustainable solutions, including plastics, packaging, polymer modifiers, and the bio-based ingredients business resulting from the recent acquisition of Danisco. (Visit booth 35013)

Messe Düsseldorf will participate to promote its worldwide program of international plastics and rubber trade fairs, including K 2013, and ArabPlast 2013. (Visit booth 503)

Gloucester Engineering Co. will display its latest solutions for film and sheet processing, including products for blown film, cast film, sheet and foam. New products and technologies will include blown film cooling, energy-saving extruder heating, blown film die technology, center surface winding technology, and multi-wrap technology for stretch films, designed to seamlessly work with existing company winders.
