Labelexpo SEA Labeled a Success

NEW DELHI, INDIA | Weldon Celloplast reported on its blog that the initial Labelexpo Southeast Asia, held May 10–12, 2018, at BITEC-Bangkok, Thailand, was a success.

The vast, column-free event venue was custom-designed for ease of use and can accommodate up to 40,000 delegates within fully flexible spaces that include ten expansive exhibition halls, six grand convention halls, and 28 breakout meeting rooms. Visitors came from the entire spread of Asia Pacific region, 7,934 attendees from 62 countries. Weldon Celloplast says as the established western markets show signs of saturation, Labelexpo is now moving to centers in the midst of countries that have double-digit growth despite substantial population.

Many of the regular exhibitors of Labelexpo exhibited at the show, including press manufacturers NilpeterOMET, Mark Andy, and Bobst. Other leading industry suppliers who exhibited include Epson, Flint Group, GEW, HPKonica Minolta, Lintec, UPM Raflatac, Xeikon, and Yupo Corporation.

The blog points out that the regional shows bring in new enquiries that otherwise are extremely difficult to locate due to an extremely widespread industrial base, and the show also contributes to the regional growth of labels in various geographical zones where it is held.
