HOLLAND, OH | The Packaging Conference 2014, coming up February 3–5 at the Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, FL, will serve as a forum for major brand owners and suppliers to discuss their latest packaging initiatives and emerging technologies. On the agenda will be next-generation materials, business strategies, sustainability efforts, processing developments, and more. Discounted early registration is available until January 15.
The conference includes a tabletop exhibit as well as, for the first time, a bonus Latin American session that will provide a forum for dialog between brand owners and suppliers who are supporting the Latin American marketplace.
Organizers Plastic Technologies and SBA-CCI, say this year’s event will have a strong environmental component—specifically how to use sustainable packaging to create brand loyalty and environmentally responsible alternatives that also provide cost-effective solutions and high performance.
“The conference is designed to provide the latest information for those in the packaging supply chain,” says John Maddox, president of SBA-CCI. “Attendees range from retailers and brand owners to resin suppliers, technology providers, equipment manufacturers, and converters. Providing a forum that helps facilitate dialog between supply chain participants is an important element in meeting packaging objectives.”
