Eumaprint on the Road to Revival

MILAN, ITALY | Eumaprint, a group of six European trade associations, has appointed ACIMGA (Italian Mfrs. Assn. of Machinery for the Graphic, Converting and Paper Industry) administrating body for the two-year period 2012–2014. Felice Rossini, chairman of ACIMGA, will now also hold the office of chairman of Eumaprint. In addition to ACIMGA, Eumaprint includes AG Graphispack, Picon, Symop, Swissmem, and Vdma.

“I am very proud of this new appointment and the role given to ACIMGA, which we intend to carry out at our best for the revitalization of Eumaprint,” says Rossini. “Europe is home to the world’s most important manufacturers of printing and converting technology. Our role is to uphold quality and technological innovation. We plan to meet the challenge posed by emerging markets with the challenge of top-notch technology.“

The agenda of the next meeting, scheduled for October in Italy, includes activities to support Eumaprint’s work, including a pan-European economic survey and lobby actions to enforce EU regulations on the safety of imported machinery.
