Simpsons Stamp-Worthy? D'oh!

Launched in 1990, The Simpsons earns a commemorative USPS postage stamp to celebrate its 20-year anniversary, and it makes history as the only TV show to serve as the subject of a stamp set while still in prime-time production. Designed to encourage younger generations to develop an interest in stamp collecting, the set uses the original, vibrantly colored artwork of the five family members designed by Matt Groening. MACtac supplied the pressure-sensitive adhesive label materials for the one billion stamps printed.
