Danafilms Expands Coex Capacity

WESTBOROUGH, MA | Danafilms announces a 50,000-sq-ft expansion of its Franklin, KY, facility, doubling the size of the plant to make room for a new Windmoeller & Hoelscher seven-layer blown coextrusion film line and accommodate future growth. The new line, Danafilms' 16th, doubles the company's coextrusion capacity. Danafilms is investing $7 million in the expansion and plans to start up the new line before the end of the year. The W&H will be on display in operation at the 2010 K Show in Düsseldorf, Germany October 27- November 3.
