AVT Lists Launches for Labelexpo Americas

HOD-HASHARON, ISRAEL | AVT, global supplier of equipment for print inspection, print process control, and quality assurance, will introduce an extensive roster of new solutions to the North American market at Labelexpo Americas 2016, September 13–15, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, Rosemont, IL, in Booth 711.

Company will introduce the Helios Turbo HD reportedly providing high-definition resolution inspection along and across the web at full press and rewinder speeds—all without sacrificing high quality assurance and key applications such as in-line barcode verification.

Also featured will be the Helios D digital press inspection system, an automatic, 100% print inspection solution designed to meet the specific needs of digital printing in the labels and narrow web markets. Helios D supports all stages of digital production workflow, including the identification of specific defects such as missing nozzles, ink dripping spots, and color changes as soon as they occur. The result, company says, is reduced waste, enhanced production, and comprehensive process monitoring.

The Helios S Turbo system is integrated into the HP Indigo 8000 high-speed digital press supporting inspection of any material, surface, or reverse print. The system’s high resolution and high speed ensures print quality, data validity, barcodes, and numbers tracking, as well as DeltaE color monitoring—all in one pass. Also presented is the Apollo 20K system, which offers 100% inspection and advanced workflow options for flexible packaging on the HP Indigo 20000 digital press.

Company also will introduce its SpectraLab II, a new generation of its in-line spectral measurement supporting nearly any application, including transparent flexible, paper, cartons, etc. SpectraLab II offers new compact design, advanced color workflow management, and improved in-line-to-offline measurement correlation. SpectraLab II also is said to feature enhanced color reporting capabilities, including real-time alerts to third-party reporting systems when colors shift out of tolerance.

Another US premiere will be the iCenter Platform, a next-generation cloud-based solution that provides solutions to set cross-site quality standards, auto-analyze PDF files for inspection, and extract business intelligence from the production floor with a seamless connectivity to MIS and prepress solutions for optimized automated workflows.
