Davis-Standard Acquires Circonix Technologies

PAWCATUCK, CT | Davis-Standard announces the acquisition of Circonix Technologies, Ringwood, NJ. Circonix is a supplier of drive and control system retrofits for converting and extrusion equipment across all product lines. Reportedly, acquiring Circonix extends Davis-Standard’s aftermarket services, supporting the company’s ability to upgrade PLC, drive, and mechanical systems on thousands of existing installations worldwide, including non-Davis-Standard brands.

“We’re excited about the combined forces of Davis-Standard and Circonix,” says Bob Florence, Davis-Standard’s VP of global sales and marketing. “Our combined capabilities improve our ability to co-engineer a broader range of solutions to improve functionality, process efficiency, and profitability for our customers worldwide.”

According to Paul Bilotti, sales and marketing manager for Circonix, Davis-Standard’s strength in the industry leverages the ability of both companies to better serve existing and new customers. Bilotti says the Circonix organizational structure remains the same, including existing teams and manufacturing facilities and adds that, with Circonix facilities in New Jersey and New York in close proximity to Davis-Standard’s R&D laboratories, Circonix can test and validate engineering solutions with its customers.
