Charles Bernard has resigned as president of FINAT, the international association for the self-adhesive labeling industry, due to a career change. Previously with French label converters Plasto, Bernard is no longer in an active position as a label converter and, accordingly, relinquishes his FINAT title to his deputy, former FINAT VP Iban Cid. Cid, who is now undertaking presidential duties in anticipation of formal election during the FINAT General Assembly in June, is president of one of Spain's largest label converters, Germark S.A., and of ANFEC, the National Association of Spanish Label Converters.
