Summer School will bring together top consultants and industry professionals for four days of focused technical training June 21 - 23, 2005, at the Lake Lawn Resort, Delavan, WI.

Courses will cover web handling and converting, dryer optimization, coater modernization, adhesion principles, and defect management. There also will be a sponsor reception on Tuesday evening and an "Ask the Experts" session on Wednesday evening.

CEMA Annual Meeting

The CEMA Annual Meeting will take place June 1-3, 2005, at the Cal-Neva Resort, Lake Tahoe, CA. The keynote speaker will address the opportunities and obstacles for converting equipment export to China and a roundtable discussion will address issues facing OEM equipment manufacturers and the introduction to the new CEMA Safety regulations for the global converting equipment marketplace.

AIMCAL has extended the call for papers deadline for abstract submissions for to June 1. Papers for he Fall Technical Conference and 18th International Conference on Vacuum Web Coating must be reviewed by the AIMCAL technical committees for acceptance. To be considered, send in a 50 word abstract. Go to to submit an on-line paper for consideration.
