Summer School will bring together top consultants and industry professionals for four days of focused technical training June 21 - 23, 2005, at the Lake Lawn Resort, Delavan, WI.

Courses will cover web handling and converting, dryer optimization, coater modernization, adhesion principles, and defect management. There also will be a sponsor reception on Tuesday evening and an "Ask the Experts" session on Wednesday evening.

CEMA Annual Meeting
June 1 –3, 2005
Cal-Neva Resort, Lake Tahoe, CA

The CEMA Annual Meeting will take place June 1-3, 2005, at the Cal-Neva Resort, Lake Tahoe, CA. The keynote speaker will address the opportunities and obstacles for converting equipment export to China and a roundtable discussion will address issues facing OEM equipment manufacturers and the introduction to the new CEMA Safety regulations for the global converting equipment marketplace.

Fall Technical Conference

AIMCAL has extended the call for papers deadline for abstract submissions for to June 1. Papers for he Fall Technical Conference and 18th International Conference on Vacuum Web Coating must be reviewed by the AIMCAL technical committees for acceptance. To be considered, send in a 50 word abstract. Go to aimcal.org/association/callforpapers.html to submit an on-line paper for consideration.


AIMCAL is sponsoring pavilions at CPP EXPO 2005 and ICE 2005. Information on each pavilion can be found by visiting the AIMCAL Pavilion overview pages at aimcal.org/association/pavilions.html.

Courtesy of Douglas Hanson Corp., any AIMCAL member sponsoring a new company member will be eligible for a drawing for a cruise for two (value to $2500). All employees of AIMCAL member companies are eligible (except the AIMCAL Board and staff).

Additionally, new members will have their dues applied to 2006, giving them membership through December, 2006.
