THATOOM, THAILAND

Thai pulp and paper manufacturer Advance Agro has added to its capacity in cut-size paper converting with three lines from E.C.H. Will and Pemco, both part of the Körber PaperLink Group. The SLK 470 cut-size lines include three 12-pocket, cut-size sheeters with ream packaging lines and five unwinds designed for a roll diameter of 1,800 mm with a semi-automatic splice system. Charnvit Jarusombathi, senior executive VP at Advance Agro, says, “Besides the high-accuracy cutting technology and production reliability, a main criterion for our purchase decision was based on the trusted on-site customer service provided by Körber PaperLink Far East. With [this] purchase, we feel we are well prepared for the future.”
