New Strategic Leadership Appointments at NIRI

Nonwovens specialist NIRI announces the strengthening of its leadership team with the appointments of Jack Eaton as Chief Commercial Officer and Dr. Clement Denis as Chief Technical Officer.

Jack leads NIRI’s commercial development, taking over the role over from Dr. Ross Ward, and he manages key client relationships, oversees marketing activity, and is guiding the expansion of NIRI’s service offerings to better meet evolving industry needs. Clement takes on the role of CTO, to oversee NIRI’s research and development strategy and project delivery.

Jack obtained a BSc in Sports Materials Technology and an MSc in Advanced Textiles and Performance Clothing, both from the University of Leeds, where he focused on nonwoven technologies, outdoor and performance clothing.  After graduating, Jack spent seven years at NIRI, where he gained extensive consultancy experience.  He then went on to gain commercial experience in coatings, pigments, and polymer processing for a diverse range of applications.  Combining business development skills with expertise in new product scale-up to commercialization, Jack rejoined NIRI in March this year to take up his new CCO role.

Clement obtained a Materials Engineering degree from Universite de Technologie de Troyes, France.  He also has an MSc in Microsystems and Nanotechnology from Cranfield University and a PhD in Materials Chemistry from University College London.  His PhD theses focused on the synthesis of nanomaterials and the control of their size/morphology using continuous hydrothermal reactors.  Prior to joining NIRI, Clement worked in industrial R&D roles, gaining experience in scale-up, process improvement and the introduction of new products to manufacturing lines.

These two strategic appointments reflect NIRI’s commitment to enhancing the company’s commercial and technical capabilities, reinforcing NIRI’s position as a trusted partner in the global nonwovens sector.
