OMET Installs Press at Siberian Printer
- Published: March 17, 2015
LECCO, ITALY | OMET reports the recent installation of an XFlex X4 flexo press at Delta Center in Omst, Siberia.
Delta Center printing company, founded in 2007 with a staff of 30 people, provides a full range of services in the field of printing and design: label production, packaging design, offset and flexographic printing, and post-printing processing. The company says the new equipment prints practically any job, from plastic packaging to complex labels, including in-mold, sleeve, and 3D labels with very high quality and with essential savings of time and waste.
Reportedly, the machine prints short runs efficiently due to the smallest repeat length of 139.7 mm and the quick-change system, and it is said to print multiple runs per shift with minimal waste and perfect register guaranteed by the Vision system.
Dmitry Permiakov, printing director of Delta Center, says, “We had been considering the flexographic presses of different manufacturers for quite a long time. The most convincing [presentation was made by] the area manager of OMET for the CIS market, who explained in detail all about the machine possibilities and the innovative solutions offered by OMET.”
Permiakov adds, “OMET greatly impressed us with its full potential of technology with available printing methods ranging from flexo to gravure and rotary offset. After testing, we were convinced of the efficiency of equipment and made a choice in favor of OMET. We must admit that we initially considered buying the XFlex X2, but after seeing the Vision system at work, we decided to buy the more expensive model XFlex X4. We would like to express our gratitude for the professional work of OMET’s service team, who thoroughly explained to our personnel all the start-up operations and provided our printers with detailed training on all the machine functions and technological possibilities.”
