ExxonMobil Launches OPP Films at Labelexpo Europe
- Published: September 30, 2013
BRUSSELS, BELGIUM | ExxonMobil Chemical introduced three new Label-Lyte OPP films for labeling applications at the recent Labelexpo Europe, held September 24-27 in Brussels.
White, 52-micron Label-Lyte 52LLC247 film is said to deliver outstanding conformability and flexibility for PSL applications. Combined with high quality label appearance, this may permit brand owners to better differentiate their products in a wide range of market segments.
Solid white, 58-micron Label-Lyte 58SW247 film reportedly delivers high yield and consistent quality for p-s label. Applications include health and beauty care, home care, beverages and industrial applications that require high-quality appearance and high-speed performance. Film can easily be coated by rollstock laminators and converted with stable performance at high speed.
Label-Lyte 29LL410 film may facilitate fast, high quality, roll-fed labeling across a range of print technologies. It is said to be well-suited for rotary UV printing, helping deliver cost-effective, fast turnaround of print runs. Uncoated, transparent coextruded film is slip-controlled on the untreated surface.
Company also displayed five Label-Lyte films that were launched at Labelexpo USA in 2012 but are new to Europe:
• Shrink sleeve Label-Lyte 50TD200
• Label-Lyte 52LLC210
• Thermal transfer Label-Lyte 65LT500
• Surface-printable Label-Lyte 50ML580
• Clear, two-side-coated Label-Lyte 40LL539
