CHICAGO, IL—PABS 06 North America, the Product Authentication & Brand Security Conference & RFID Forum, will take place September 14-15 in Chicago and is jointly organized by AWA Conferences & Events and the Brand Protection Alliance. The conference on September 14 will provide insight into current concerns, actions, and technologies used for product authentication, and also will cover the lessons learned from the field and the most innovative solutions for creating more effective brand protection strategies. The Secretary of State of North Caroline will deliver the keynote address.

In addition to the conference, a highly focused RFID Forum will be held on September 15th, organized in cooperation with AIM Global. The forum will look into the opportunities, capabilities, and limitations of RFID technology from the perspective of different players in the value chain, and will include a keynote presentation by the Chairman of the CACP (Coalition Against Counterfeiting and Piracy).
