PRESS RELEASE

ALEXANDRIA, VA—The EMA Foundation for Paper-Based Communications has released an industry awareness educational CD-ROM for the envelope industry, providing information on the market, a history of the industry, information on the environment career opportunities, and the future of the industry.

In conjunction with FCA Assoc. and the Flexographic Technical Assn. (FTA), EMA has also released an envelope-specific simulator program. The EMA Specific Simulator replicates press conditions or problems for training purposes. The simulator uses eight different print jobs from two- to four-colors each and two different print unit ink delivery systems to address a range of products and equipment used in the industry.

The program consists of: on entry level FlexSys™ Press Simulator; 2 FLIPSS&38482; (read-only flexographic support software); one software security key; 90 preset exercises; three workbooks; administrators’ solutions; Internet-based administrator training; and two years of simulator support.

The CD is available for $200. The program is available to EMA members for $7,500 and $10,000 for non-members. For more information on either or to place an order, contact Kim Moses at 703/739-2200 or kmoses@envelope.org.
