WOOD DALE, IL

Videojet Technologies has agreed to acquire PRISM, Duluth, GA, a developer of variable data control products in the packaging and printing industries. The combined expertise of the two companies will create a single source to design and implement turnkey track-and-trace programs, including production line control systems, code generation and printing, data storage, and in-field Web portals.

“…Videojet and PRISM have partnered on many track-and-trace initiatives over the past three years,” says Videojet president Craig Purse, “so the joining of these companies was a natural fit.”

Prism will continue to operate as a separate business unit and will remain based in Duluth.
