Pliant Engineered Films announces the Empower suite of technologies for source reduction in packaging. The portfolio features three introductory technologies that allow brand owners to lower their packaging environmental footprint: Insight to enhance marketing opportunities; Synergy to protect moisture properties; and Endurance to increase yield. Reportedly, the suite of films can be used for large-format packaging typical of bulk products or industrial applications, as well as for smaller formats such as traditional retail packages.
