Maxson Automatic Machinery Co. is planning a multimillion dollar expansion that will include additional office and production facilities for greater capacity and computer numeric control machine tools to enhance productivity.

The manufacturer of precision sheeters says the 50,000-sq-ft facility is scheduled to be in production by Q3 2008.

Maxson also reports it is collaborating with the State of Rhode Island in an employee training assistance program that educates new hires and upgrades the skills of the existing workforce.
