Lebanese Joint Venture Invests in W&H Coex Line

LINCOLN, RI | Cedex Plastics, the new Lebanese-based joint venture between Exopack and the Indevco Group of Lebanon, has made its first investment in equipment with a 3-layer Varex co-extrusion line from Windmoeller & Hoelscher.

Cedex will use the line to manufacture coextruded PE film for export to North America, enabling Exopack to provide its customers with cost-effective films of the highest quality.

The Varex line is a high-output, 3-layer design with an 87-in. working width, grooved feed extruders, and 18-in. 3-layer Maxicone C die with Optifil P2K automatic gauge control and automation modules, as well as a Filmatic S dual surface winder.
