ATLANTA, GA

Caraustar Industries has opened its fifth manufacturing operation for Protect-A-Board and Protect-A-Wrap edge and strap protectors. The latest operation is located at Caraustar's existing Beardstown, IL, facility.

The expanded Beardstown operation will continue to serve customers throughout the Midwest with a more diverse product line, and Caraustar says the new operation will provide significantly shorter lead times to customers previously served from more remote facilities.
