  • The Specialty Chemicals business of OMNOVA Solutions, Fairlawn, OH, increases prices for all acrylic, styrene acrylic, and vinyl acrylic emulsion polymers by $0.04/wet lb. Its GenFlo, GenCeal, Omnabond, GenCryl, and GenCal styrene butadiene-based emulsion polymers increase $0.04/dry lb.

  • Henkel Corp., Düsseldorf, Germany, publishes a 40-page Sustainability Report detailing its performance for 2005-2009. Carbon dioxide emissions decreased 25%, water consumption 37%, and volume of waste 12% per metric ton of output in each case.
