New Berlin, WI | Tekra Corp., a worldwide supplier of engineered plastic films, has become an authorized distributor for the polycarbonate film products of SABIC Innovative Plastics in the US and Canada.

SABIC manufactures high-performance Lexan, Valox and Ultem film products, which the company says are used in thousands of applications, including automotive, healthcare, consumer electronics, packaging and telecommunications.

Effective immediately, Tekra customers will have access to nearly 100 new polycarbonate products, including clear graphic and optical films, electrical and electronic flame retardant films, high performance coated films, and specialty films, including Lexan SLX weatherable grades.
