Dow Chemical Increases Prices on Polyolefin Elastomers

MIDLAND, MI—Effective August 1, 2007, Dow Chemical and Dow Chemical Canada will raise prices of all grades of Engage polyolefin elastomers in North America. Engage polyolefin elastomers will increase by eight cents per pound. Engage polyolefin elastomers are included in markets such as adhesives, automotives, durable and consumer goods, and building and construction.

Dow Chemical continues to invest in specialty polymers to ensure long-time sustainability of supply. Costs of production, handling, and delivery of these polymers continue to rise. Polymer partitioning agents, storage, special drying, and unique packaging and handling systems all are part of the process. See dow.com.
