APG Announces Sale of Business

YOUNGSTOWN, OH -- American Paper Group Inc. (APG) officials announce the sale of the envelope-producing operation. According to the company's recent announcement, APG's CEO Thomas W. Pietrocini appointed Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin Capital as its exclusive financial advisor to sell the company.

APG says it has spent the last 15 months reinventing its commercial envelope business to utilize variable digital color, print-on-demand, continuous roll technology. "The company has now produced over 160 million process color envelopes, making it the highest volume producer of variable data color documents in North America. Digital color production is currently at 1.5 million units per day and expected to reach 3.0 million units per day by year-end," the co. adds.
