PCMC to Demo New Designs at Corrugated 2002

GREEN BAY, WI, USA—PCMC PrePrint reports it will be showcasing a host of new equipment innovations at Corrugated 2002 this summer. The corrugated industry show is slated for June 10–15, 2002, Paris, France.

According to PCMC (Paper Converting Machine Co.) the company will be highlighting the latest in advanced Linerflex™ C.I. PrePrint flexo press for the corrugated industry. "Following the purchase of the intellectual property of Cobden Chadwick, PCMC continues to implement leading-edge press technology in its high-quality range of printing presses for the flex-pack industry," says the co. "PCMC will demonstrate how the new designs have evolved into a more advanced PrePrint press, which provides better dot gain accuracy resulting in award-winning graphics and higher efficiencies," adds the co.

In addition, PCMC reports it will reveal how the co. developed its automated print/anilox roll manipulator, automatic print washdown system, and print set-up technology—innovations the co. says help reduce changeover times (under 40 minutes on an 8-color job). A "revolutionary" new drying system, capable of improving productivity on all existing pre- and postprint presses also will be launched at the show, PCMC says.
