Tidland President Retires

CAMAS, WA | Tidland Corp. announces the retirement of its president, Quino Lorente, after 24 years of contributions to the industry. Lorente joined Tidland in 1985 as manager of business development. In 1990 he became general manager of Tidland Electronics and led the team responsible for changing slitting technology with the introduction of the ESP fully automated positioning system.

In 1998 Quino was named VP of Tidland Slitting, and shortly after 1999 he was made president. “I have enjoyed working with Tidland and Maxcess,” said Lorente. “Throughout my career with the company, my colleagues have been excellent and very professional, making the work easy.”
