CINCINATTI, OH | Spear, a leading global supplier of beverage labels, has purchased the Precision Printing & Packaging (PPPI) unit from Anheuser-Busch Packaging Group, based in St. Louis, MO. While terms of the agreement were not disclosed, Clarksville, TN-based PPPI has annual sales of $70 million and prints 28 billion labels/yr for Anheuser-Busch and other beverage, food, and consumer products companies.
Spear currently operates three US facilities in Milford, NH, Fulton, NH, and at its headquarters in Mason, OH, and has international operations in the UK and South Africa. Key customers in addition to Anheuser-Busch include Bacardi, Coke, Diageo, Grupo Modelo, Heineken, L’Oreal, Neutrogena, Pepsi, Procter & Gamble, SABMiller.
Anheuser-Busch holds a 48.5% share of US beer sales, is one of the largest theme park operators in the US, and is a major manufacturer and one of the world’s largest recyclers of aluminum cans. For more information, visit:
