Mark Andy Reports 'Strong' First Quarter Sales

Mark Andy Reports 'Strong' First Quarter Sales ST. LOUIS, MO | Mark Andy Inc., a world leader in narrow- and mid-web printing and converting equipment, has reported “strong sales” during first quarter 2009, though no specific figures were provided. The company says its success during the quarter is an indicator that converters are again making equipment purchases.

Specifically, the company reports that North American sales volume for Comco, Mark Andy, Rotoflex and UVT equipment was higher than the prior year, with international sales following suit.

In addition to orders for new equipment, MAX, the aftermarket service and support group of the organization, has also enjoyed success with enhancements and upgrades, as well as press rebuilds, the company reports. The engineering and manufacturing processes to support these initiatives have resulted in a significant first quarter, according to Mark Andy.
