MeadWestvaco Becomes MVW in Global Rebranding Inititiative

RICHMOND, VA | MeadWestvaco Corp. recently unveiled its new corporate identity as “MWV: How brands take shape.” It is designed to articulate how its global packaging capabilities are designed to protect and promote products, deliver supply chain efficiencies, meet sustainability promises, and increase customers’ marketplace competitiveness—all in one “voice.” In essence, MWV reflects the company’s ability to help customers’ brands take shape, the company reports.

MWV’s global rebranding intiative reflects the company's heritage, global leadership position and vision for the future, according to the company. It is a promise to customers, says spokes people, to understand the opportunities and challenges inherent in their businesses and markets, and to do so by leveraging MWV’s presence in key markets throughout the world. As well, the rebranding reflects MWV’s complete range of capabilities that include consumer insights, innovative materials and solutions, design, primary and secondary packaging, automated systems and support, and supply chain efficiencies.
