CRI Increases Prices on Ink

PRESS RELEASE

FAIRFIELD, OH—Color Resolutions Int. (CRI) has announced that effective November 1, 2007, prices on all packaging inks will be raised from 7% to 14%, depending on the color and resin technology. The company reports that the price increases are necessary due to two major factors: elimination of refunds that Chinese exporters receive from the Chinese value-added tax (VAT) and a continuing rise in raw materials, transportation, and energy costs.
