Flexo Forum: Experts & Break-Out Session Top DiTrolio's Event Agenda

"In today's tight economy, is your company looking for ways to not only survive, but to be better, faster, and more efficient than last year?"

That's the question the DiTrolio Flexographic Institute (DFI) is asking flexo converters—answering with an open house that can help your operation "make the most of its time, equipment, and people," the DFI reports. Slated for this Thursday, April 11, 2002 (10am to 4pm), DFI's open house reportedly will give industry representatives, high school and college vocational programs, community-based organizations, and prospective press operators a first-hand look at the educational methods, curriculum, equipment, and procedures used at the institute.

"Our open houses are the most effective way we've found to educate people about our full range of industry-specific training programs and consulting services," says Vincent DiTrolio, DFI administrator. "Of course, we're quite proud of our 3,000 sq-ft training facility, with state-of-the-art equipment and materials provided by generous industry leaders and supportive partners of our program. We encourage anyone with an interest in the flexo industry to visit us on April 11th. I guarantee we have the ideas, expertise, and support help to improve their bottom line," DiTrolio adds.

Held at DFI's educational facility in the western Chicago suburb of Broadview, the event will feature industry guest speakers (from 11am to 1:30 pm), including Bob Potratz, Action Rotary Die; Angelo Capozio, Alden & Ott Inks LP; Ken Pavett, Pitman Co.; and Art Ehrenberg, Harper Corp.. In addition, the day will include a special break-out session, 2 pm, which will be lead by past-TLMI president Suzanne Zaccone, current president of Graphic Solutions, Inc. Snacks and refreshments will be served throughout the day, says DFI.
