LECCO, ITALY—If you didn't get a peak at OMET's Varyflex at last fall's Labelexpo Europe, you still have a chance to see the press in action. According to the Italian press manufacturer, the Varyflex gearless, flexographic printing press will be on display during a three-day open house beginning in late February.
"A machine [created] to astonish," says OMET's release, "[the Varyflex] is able to process any kind of material, from 12-micron film to 600-micron board substrates. And thanks to the…electronic control system, combined with the gearless technology and the sensational sleeve-change system, [the press allows] rapid and easy job changes."
According to OMET, the open house is slated to begin February 27 and will run through March 1st at OMET's factory in Lecco, via Polvara, Italy. The company also says personnel will be on hand to provide visitors with a complete analysis of the ROI with the Varyflex.
