RadTech Conference Has Broad Agenda

CHEVY CHASE, MD | RadTech - The Association for UV & EB Technology reports the upcoming technical conference will feature many exciting technologies.

The event, which takes place May 7–9, 2018, in Rosemont, IL, will address many issues, including the following:

  • Implantable materials compatible with host tissue
  • Biomimicry applications involving transforming reactive liquid mixtures into solid thread-like structures at high speeds like spiders and silkworms
  • “Artificial muscles” using liquid crystalline elastomers
  • Anti-fingerprint, anti-glare, and anti-reflective coatings
  • “Smart” materials
  • Materials for light weighting
  • UV+EB coatings for automotive interiors including automotive knobs, buttons, and overhead, mood lighting with touchscreens, and capacitive sensing
  • Rapid, carbon fiber processing
  • Materials, materials, materials for 3D printing rapid manufacturing applications
  • Organic-inorganic hybrids (OIH).

The deadline for registering is April 20, 2018.
