PPC Conference to Include Plant Tour

SPRINGFIELD, MA | On Friday, April 10, the Paperboard Packaging Council (PPC) will conclude its 2015 Spring Outlook and Strategies Conference (April 8–10) with a plant tour of PPC member International PaperBox

Located just minutes from the conference location in Salt Lake City, UT, the tour will provide attendees with an opportunity to learn about best practices in equipment layout, waste reduction, organizational visioning, and more from their peers. In addition to opening up their impressive facility, International PaperBox will also provide attendees a full lunch.

PPC says the value of a plant tour extends beyond the opportunities for observation and learning. By understanding International PaperBox’s philosophy on business and operational management, attendees may benchmark against their own systems and decisions—and use that information to improve efficiencies.

“By sharing best practices, tips, and tricks, we become a more informed and efficient folding carton industry,” says PPC president Ben Markens. “The tour of International PaperBox is just one of many opportunities for PPC members to do just that during Spring Meeting.”
